Can really ask for any better.
After a lightning strike took out the ethernet port on my motherboard, I needed a hard-wired gig ethernet solution.
Tried a different brand prior to this one, couldn’t get it to work. This one was plug and play. Getting max wire speeds, no fuss, works reliably.
Perfect functionality for a Win 10 / USB 3.0 machine, and reasonably priced.

I was shocked to find that my new Macbook Pro did not have an Ethernet port! Oh my gosh, how was I going to copy stuff from my old iMac to the new machine, surely not over Wifi, that would take ages. Luckily I found this adapter and the problem was resolved. I just plugged one end into a USB 3 port on the Macbook, actually I used my Anker® 60W 7-Port USB 3.0 Data Hub with 3 PowerIQ Charging Ports for iPhone, iPad, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, and More – then a good old ethernet cable plugged into the adapter and the connection to my iMac was complete. I use this sometimes to connect to a Homeplug Network when the Wifi is misbehaving and for copying files over quickly.

It works as soon as I plug it in and doesnt required any troublesome installation. Just ordered it for emergency use but now I think I will keep using it. USB 3.0 with such price is very cool.
