This was a very good value. having been purchased 4 years and a month ago for $8.99. and just now we are replacing it – not because it is no longer functional because it is. but because it has become frayed around the edges and is looking a bit ratty. I believe that when the magnets in the edges fall out due to long wear. that the sleep function is compromised. but it still works to protect the tablet.

I once had this same style case but of a different manufacturer. Along the front right side. mid way down. there was an alluminium strip about two inches long – so you could put your finger behind it to open the case. Trouble was. the metal strip cracked and crumbled the glass screen protector around the area of the strip..Que: this new case. No metal strip and a nice ‘soft close’ when you’re finished. The material feels of good quality. too. A good case for the price and no design faults. A ‘must have’ for your old Galaxy Tab A !
