Great value. I was able to get my 2010 and 2011 Macbook Pros connected to my 27 inch 4k monitor. albeit at 2560×1440 at 60hz. 4k would not work for them. since their integrated graphics cards do not support it. Definitely interested to see how it would perform on an ultra wide monitor. Beautiful and crisp clear images. Who needs a retina when you can just buy a nice monitor and connect one of these old macbooks..I also tried the cable to connect my 2011 27 inch iMac to my 4k monitor. I was able to get it at 4k. but at 30hz..4k was nice and crisp when using my partner’s Microsoft Surface pro..Good quality cable.

I got this product as I purchased a 4k monitor to connect to my Surface Pro 4. I had previously been using a HDMI to HDMI cable with a HDMI to MiniDisplay Port adapter to connect my Surface Pro 4 to my 1080p HDTV. This product was able to plug directly into my Surface Pro 4 and with the 4k Monitor. It was immediately displaying in the monitor in 4k resolution!

I bought a monitor AOC U2879VF. I used an HDMI cable to connect it to my macbook but I wasn”t unable to upscale to have a better quality until I found online that and Display port is the best option with a 4 monitor. It works smoothly and the quality is brilliant. I recommend this cable. Super quick delivery and nice quality.

I used this to connect my DP devices to my 2010 iMac which is one of the last models to support Target Display Mode. Works great and no issues so far.
