This device is perfect in every respect. perfectly made. packed and it works just perfectly out of the box. We use it to convert a Thunderbolt signal ( mini DVI) to HDMI to run a second 1080P monitor and thus have 2 monitors powered by a 2013 MacBook Pro. And it just works. Buy this without a second thought. It is so well made it could be Apple making it under a different brand name!
