This is a really nice looking case for my laptop. the padding is substantial all around. The outer material feels very durable. The case overall have a nice weight to it. The case is slim looking but I can still put inside a thin note pad along with my laptop and the outside zip pocket is great for pens/ cell phone. Overall very happy with this purchase.
