It is in two parts: a soft rubbery part. and a hard plastic part. First put the rubbery part on the phone. then slide on the plastic part. Locks in place. and seems to be durable and shock-absorbing. The previous case lasted for six years (the leather one sold by Apple). Actually I kept it. in case this new one dies prematurely. because the old leather one is only damaged on two corners.

This case for my iPhone 6 fits perfectly. All tactile outer buttons have a nice feel and the space to silence your iPhone is large enough to get your finger in easily. There is raised lip around the screen to protect it when setting it facing down which is a big plus.

This is a generally nice case for an iPhone. It’s durable enough and visually fine. However. the design of the case doesn’t allow for certain chargers to be used. Specifically. I had a L-shaped phone charger that I can’t use with this case because the gap for the charging port isn’t big enough.

This protective cover is ideal and seems robust enough. especially for the low price. The delivery was a day later than suggested but I have no complaints.

This is a great case. I purchased this for my son and he really likes it. We bought a different one that was cheap and super slim. but I was worried that the phone would be damaged the first time it was dropped. This case is not as durable as an Otterbox or the like. but it’s also a lot less expensive and will work great for this phone. We’re very happy with this purchase and would buy it again.
