This case for the iPhone 16 doesn’t have any bells or whistles. but it weighs almost nothing and it won’t bulk out your phone. It fits like a glove. It’s not really a hardshell case. and it’s certainly not armored but it should provide decent protection from scratches and minor drops. The clear back lets your iPhone still look like an iPhone and prevents scratches..If you’re a person who trades in their old phone when you get a new one. even a simple case will pay for itself at trade-in time. My old iPhone 11 had a much higher trade-in than I expected because it didn’t have a single scratch or dent after three years..The raised edge around the camera lenses is pretty substantial. as the pictures show. But the raised edge around the bezel and the back is only about 1mm high. and the edge cushioning is 2 or 3 mm thick. So this isn’t a bombproof Otter-type case. and I chose not to test its drop protection on my brand-new iPhone 16 Pro..It doesn’t come with a screen protector. which I still consider necessary despite Apple’s durability claims for their new ceramic screens. At this modest price point. I don’t expect them to throw in a screen protector anyway..I really like how it looks on my white iPhone. and the rubberized edge makes it a lot easier to grip securely. I also appreciate that it doesn’t turn this slender phone into a trouser-dragging pocket anchor..It gets high marks for looks and price point and lightness; but not the highest score for drop protection. Four stars.

Just upgraded to 16 Pro. so ordered this case which is similar to the one I had on my previous mobile. It fits well to protect the phone and all the action buttons and camera lens are clear.
