It did what it was supposed to do. which was to protect the camera from any damage. A while ago I somehow accidentally managed to drop my phone on a pair of dumbbells. One side of the camera protector broke during the drop so I had to take it off and put a new one on. No worries though because my iPhone camera was still intact with not a single scratch ????

I recently purchased these Camera Lens Protectors for my new phone because I have a tendency to occasionally drop it during work and other activities. I’m glad I did. Within two days of fitting one of the three covers that come in the pack. I dropped the phone onto a hard surface which caused one of the lenses to chip and crack. Fortunately the lens cover took the brunt of the blow. I quickly removed the cover to check for damage to the lens and thankfully there was none! Relieved. I put a fresh cover on the phone and now all is well..A few things to note. At the time the phone was fitted in a quality case it is likely the lens would have been a right-off (even though an unprotected camera lens is normally recessed within the cover). Secondly. these lens covers are likely bring your camera flush to the phone cover which makes them easier to wipe off fingerprints and greasy marks but increase the potential for your lens cover to take a hit should you drop it on a hard/uneven surface. But that’s what the protection is supposed to do anyway. And lastly. be careful when removing a cracked/chipped lens cover as they are made of a glass type material and if splintered (which is what the are intended to do) may cause injury. so wear protective gloves..Otherwise. the these covers are easy to fit. Have an airhole fitted to limit condensation and allow liquid to seep out. And. they are much cheaper than buying a new phone. I have already purchased a different model of the same type and fitted them to a family members phone and would highly recommend you do the same.
