It’s rubber. but not like that weird cheap rubber. The only negative I have is that it collects dust and pet hair easily.

We ended up sending this back as it stuck to the inside of my son’s pocket. (ugh. teenagers) The case is nice and fit his iphone 13 just right. If he would use his back pocket. there wouldn’t have even been an issue for him. but he uses his front pockets for everything and the silicone would “stick” to the pocket and therefore would pull the fabric of the pocket out when he would take out his phone..This is a legit 17 year old boy issue. 🙂

I am used to bulkier cases so I was a little concerned that this would not hold up but it is so great and durable! it never slips out of my hand because the silicone makes it a bit grippy and even when I dropped it down a flight of carpeted stairs and onto tile at the end of the stairs it held up and the phone did not break. So far it does not have any rubbing spots or clear signs of where I held my fingers. and the silicone isn’t peeling. it is a bit bendy so if you store cards or passes in the back behind your phone then you can still easily access them. overall a wonderful purchase. I will buy this in more colours soon
