Does not slip. Angle adjusts easily and holds in place very well. Actually it locks in place. If you have a very thick protector on your phone or tablet it does not fit right into the slot but you can still make it work. I have my recipes shared to Google Drive from my computer and I have my tablet on this wonderful stand in the kitchen to display the recipes. Awesome. I am going to scan in all my recipe cards as well.
