The case fits the ipad mini well. It does not support the iPad well in the typing or viewing orientation. It will collapse with the slightest touch. It needs stronger magnets or a feature to hold the folded cover in position to prevent the iPad from flopping down.

Came in good quality. not singular sccratch ot smudge in sight. Not heavy. and the magnet seems to be strong. The colour is also pretty and muted. not too intense.

I’m really quite pleased with this case. Expectations were low considering the price. but it does its job exactly how I want it to. Thus is installed on my iPad that I use exclusively for Foreflight. It slots into my Battleboard knee board perfectly. It is quite easy to remove the apple pencil. and I have zero concerns it will accidentally pop out. It plays nice with my rigid screen protector. The only thing it does poorly is act as a stand for the iPad if you want to set it up horizontally to watch movies; it’s pretty flimsy in this setup. Ive been using this for a few months with no signs of wear. but at the same time.I don’t expect to gets years of use out of it. When it does eventually wear out. I will repurchase if it’s still available.

I keep my flight electronic flight bag with the apple pencil on here. Having the pencil secured to the case is a good backup for when turbulence picks up and you’re rushing to write down clearance or ATIS data. Case stays put on my thigh without any assistance.
