This cover has magnetic connection to the cover when folded to the back. The folded cover in the back stays in place. A major deficiency in cheaper models.

Apple quality but without the price tag. Although the iPad is only held in the case by the magnets. it feels so secure as the magnet is so strong.

I love these types of cases for my iPads. Magnets are great. color is beautiful. I’m not sure how cleaning would be seeing as I’m a very careful person. but it seems that the cleaning would be easy. Overall great product.

What distinguishes this iPad Mini 6 cover is that it secures the device magnetically. I find this secure enough. but you wouldn’t want to shake or drop this. This lightest care in opening the cover should be enough. Although magnetic. this does NOT mean that you can reorientate the iPad to a portrait/vertical position; the magnets are aligned so that the iPad can only be attached in a horizontal position..I’ve added images so that readers can see how the pencil flap is secured against the case. both when it is covering the Apple Pencil as well as when you have the cover open to view the iPad. As you can see. the flap is magnetised so that it attaches to the outer cover and inside cover; it does not dangle (thankfully). I found the iPad comfortable to hold with one hand. for example. with the pencil flag secured against the inside cover..Overall. this is an attractive proposition. The use of magnets removes the need for plastic and presumably reduces some weight. It certainly makes it easier to remove the iPad as desired. However. for the sake of security (even if psychological). I would have considered a traditional plastic (not silicon. which gets sticky over time) device holder with the PVC/leather cover with pencil flap. So. this JETech Magnetic Case may not be perfection. but it should certainly be on your short list.

This cover offers very similar quality to Apple’s offering at a fraction of the cost. Whether the Pencil is present or not. the extra flap gives the extra security that covers for older models didn’t offer. It’s not protecting the device is case of a drop. but it provides a good protection against scratching the back when put on a surface. I really like the fact that it’s really easy to detach the cover from the back as it’s held with magnets only. which could be seen as a downside as I wouldn’t trust magnets if holding by the open flap. which shouldn’t be done anyway. The magnets also allow to stick the whole iPad to a magnetic surface. like a refrigerator or some computer cases (I often stick my iPad to my PC case while charging it.)

This case is excellent as the flap protects the Apple Pencil. Functionally. it is perfect. However. the size is a tad bigger than the iPad mini. and the fingerprint sensor on the Power Botton is slightly difficult to touch. I wish it reassess a bit around the area. Since this happens every time I open the iPad mini. I removed one star. Otherwise. it provides excellent protection.
