This works reasonably well. It covers and protects most of the screen surface and back of the iPad. It can be a bit loose on the flat screen overlay flap but usable. It is average at propping up the iPad to view the screen. Much better than leaving the iPad out but not a rugged protection device.

I love this case in my favorite color: a light purple. Make sure you put it on correctly. Woops: at first we didn’t. That way your screen is protected and the standup part works. It’s not real heavy. Just right and I must tell you. I am fussy and looked at many cases before I chose this one worthy of my new iPad.
