I bought this two years ago and it has been my absolute favorite case! It did start to crack and break apart after only 24 months of constant day-to-day use. I used it as a stand regularly to watch videos; used the typing format when it’s sitting on my lap. I’ve taken it camping to work in the car and in my home. Opening/closing the flap did a superb job turning on and off the screen. After two short years it did start to crack without being dropped and eventually would not hold the iPad anymore. However I would not take it breaking after two years of use as a negative. Definitely RECOMMEND!

This cover fits perfectly and does its protective job well. It turns off my Pad when the cover is closed. It is smart looking not slippery in my hands and fits my needs perfectly. The only problem I am having is inserting the charge cable in the dark (I read in bed at night with all the other lights off). My last cover only had a small opening in the bottom so it was easy to find and plug in in the dark. This cover has a very wide opening (probably to enhance the speaker output) but the charger opening is more difficult to find by touch alone. It will get easier as I get more familiar with it. I do like this cover as it snaps on and holds the iPad tightly. I like it.
