It does work but I am disappointed at the cover not creating more of a ‘stand’ for the iPad. The cover lid does not allow the iPad to stand at a high angle when used lying flat. The lid also does not support the weight of the iPad and easily slides out of position as you are using the iPad. It does work but it is frustrating to have to reset the angles as you work.
