So easy to use. just plug and play. The picture quality is fantastic. it supports multiple resolutions. and has zero issues after some heavy wear. Make sure your monitor has an attached VGA Male Connector. or that you have the proper VGA cable available for it. Other than that. very compatible. connects pretty well with the screw-in system. functions fantastically.

Got this in advance of really needing it. but used it not so long ago to save swapping out my test bench monitor (VGA plug only) while using a more recent GPU. The progression having run from cards that only have VGA. cards that have VGA and others. cards which support VGA on a DVI-I with passive adapter plug and those with no VGA support at all.Picture is as solid as when using the monitor on native VGA cards. I’m guessing there might be additional latency but I don’t have anything to measure it.

I have not tried sound yet but it worked great for my slides. I did not find I needed to use the USB power but I guess it is nice to have that option if your laptop can”t drive it through the HDMI port alone.
