Used this product to convert a HDMI signal from a laptop to a VGA input to a dumb screen. Worked perfectly. The laptop also sent the sound signal to the screen so lost all sound. Easily rectified by going to Settings selecting the sound output alternative to the Monitor/screen and all was well. Now very happy.

Not much else to say but this works if your monitor needs an adapter to plug into your computer. I don’t know why they don’t make the monitors universal so you don’t even have to buy one of these. but maybe my monitor is older. Whatever. I’m glad the price was right and it was just a plug and play type situation.
