Needed to swap over two remote monitors without disturbing wiring. One was hdmi and the other dvi. This did the job without any hassle (worth the very reasonable investment) and I still have an adapter spare. Result! Very pleased!

Works beautifully to connect my old Hanns-G monitor (VGA/DVI) to my Acer Aspire laptop (HDMI Windows 10). It was basically plug-and-play using the DVI cable that came with the monitor and this adapter to connect to my laptop HDMI port and set up an extended desktop using the Windows settings on my laptop. Absolutely no problems with spacing of the adapter at the HDMI port – fits snuggly and sturdily not covering any of the other ports in line with it. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase and *very* impressed with ‘s improvement in shipping times: I received this with a one-day turnaround!

I was so glad when I plugged this adapter onto my Mac Cinema Display and into the HDMI port on a 8-1 adapter…boom I’ve got a solid picture. I tried a DVI to USB-C and the monitor flickered on my new MacBook Pro. This solved it very happy!
