My computer monitors are 27-32 inch. which we called “large” and “high resolution” 5-10 years ago. Now many monitors and televisions use much higher resolution and require a careful choice of cable. I spent an hour trying to figure out which cable would support my “large” monitor. If you have an old “large” monitor. don’t waste time reading the numerous reviews. Just buy these cables. which are remarkably inexpensive but high quality. These cables also work on some higher resolution monitors. but that is irrelevant to us. Do be cautious of other super-cheap cables. some of which will not work for us.

I can’t speak to the picture quality of these HDMI cables on a television but they are working well for PC video. I’m using one on an older Dell desktop with a Display Port adapter. The video signal is fine and the cable seems well constructed. The six foot length is good for my setup with the PC on a shelf next to my desk. The cost is right as well — definitely not worth spending triple the cost at a big box store. So far I’m pleased with the purchase and I’d buy them again.
