I have dropped my phone from the car onto pavement from 5+ feet multiple times. my child runs around with my phone daily and throws it around. and I drop my phone multiple times a day and it doesn’t have a scratch. ding or chip on it. I bought this case based on reviews to replace one that had worn out and to try a different brand. It’s a solid case that fits the phone. Both sides has raised top & bottom edges so that the glass as well as the back of the case avoids scratches. The case feels “heavy” and adds dimension to the phone. but it makes me feel assured tge case is built with quality to protect.
