I bought a brand new GPU (a RX 590 from sapphire) that would constantly have driver crashes 5 minutes into gaming. Looking into this problem I discovered it didn”t like display adapters as I was using a VGA-HDMI. Shopping around town all I could find were expensive 30 dollar cords which was highway robbery. Shipped to me in two days (standard shipping) and hooked her up and my GPU problem is fixed.

could be heavier as the old VGA cable of this thin failed after several years & its not as if they are connected & disconnected regularly. perhaps a couple times a year.so I figured I would try the DVI cable.the video noise is gone & all is good again however I do have VGA cables twice as thick that have never given me a problem & are well over 10 years old so I am concerned these thinner cables are less durable & more prone to early failure. time will tell
