We had to order many of these for the office because the new PCs we bought only support DisplayPort and all our monitors are VGA/HDMI. We’ve had maybe one or two fail out of 100+ purchased. Just plug it in and forget about it. No complaints. We’ll continue to order these when needed.

Go for an active cable for 3 monitor setup. However this product worked okay. Just had to remove and reinsert cable to get signal to pick up on third monitor.
