Description
The 6 feet cable connects a DisplayPort / DisplayPort++ (DP/DP++) enabled computer to an HDTV, monitor, and projector with HDMI input for audio and video streaming. (Note: NOT bi-directional. Only converts signal from DP to HDMI)
The gold-plated conductors resist corrosion and increase connectivity. The inner braided foil shielding reduces interference and improves signal quality
Supports resolutions up to 4K x 2K, and flawless audio pass-thru for uncompressed digital 7.1, 5.1 or 2 channels
The DP connector has a latch to provide secure connection with the port. Press the latch down before unplugging the connector

Great cable with noticeable difference between it and HDMI to HDMI. I cannot grumble as this freed up the HDMI slot on my Palit 2070 for my VR system.

Between a computer and onkyo receiver this cable doesn’t seem to be able to handle HDR while pushing 4K at 60Hz. Works fine without HDR though

No problems at all though only running at 1080P60 resolution/frame rate. Can’t comment on how well it would work for other settings (though no reason to expect it wouldn’t perform fine)

Had previously bought a DP to HDMI adapter but it only supported 1920×1080 and my monitor is widescreen 2560×1080 – this was just what I needed to get back to a pin sharp image and away from the stretched image I had been putting up with.
