It seems like a really good quality cable but I can’t use it at the moment cuz using this cable made me find out that one of the ports that it will work on does not work properly. when it comes to extension cables you need to use the highest bandwidth port on your video card. if anybody ever has trouble with an extension cable you got to make sure you look up the video port priorities.

Had some issues finding this item on for some reason. Followed an article link.No drama decent cost pretty flexible 6 feet extension to my VR headset. So I can hang the cable off the ceiling and out of the way.Wish somebody would make a USB + Display port extension that”s pretty flexible for VR. Until then this is pretty good.

The cable itself is a quality cable and does extend standard DP connection just fine. However after reading several reviews that this worked for people to extend their Rift S displayport connection I decided to try it. It did NOT work for me.My video card is an eVGA nVidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super the model with the onboard USB-C connector. When using this cable during setup of my Rift S the software would not detect the DP connection. Once I plugged the Rift S cable directly into the DP socket it worked fine.Despite some reviews indicating it worked for them it”s probably best to listen to the manufacturer description on this one and not get it for the purpose of extending your Rift S DP connection as it seems to only work for a few people.That aside the cable is sturdy and functions for extending a monitor DP connection.

The cord does what it claims-my cable is extended and I’m still getting 144 FPS when I’m able to. It seems sturdy. although admittedly I’ve only had it for about a month. The connections have had no issue staying put even with some movement from a standing desk.

Used this cable to extend the original display port cable that came with the Rift. Haven”t had any issues with signal degradation or perceivable input lag.

It was bought specifically to extend the cable from an Oculus Rift S headset. Initially it didn”t work. However a comment in one of the forums suggested that the extension be connected directly to the PC and the headset plugged in on the end. Now it works well.
