I bought this case for the iPhone XR that my employer gave to me for company calls and work. There are not as many choices available for such an old iPhone..I like the design of the case. The rear panel is a rigid clear plastic that allows the rear of the iPhone to be seen. The outer edges of the case are made of soft TPU plastic and are available in a variety of colors. I chose the Blue case. and it looks great. even for a black iPhone installed in it. And it doesn’t add much extra weight to the iPhone. The TPU edges will absorb shocks if the iPhone is dropped..The buttons are very easy to engage. and the opening for the mute button is large enough that the switch is easily accessible. The front and rear edges of the case are raised to keep the screen or camera lens from making contact with a surface when laid down..The only drawback with this case is that the clear back panel easily and quickly shows fingerprints. This would be less obvious with a lighter colored iPhone. but with a black iPhone the fingerprints are very visible. But they wipe off easily with a soft cloth..I would recommend this case to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced case (mine was $9.99) and the colored edges add a nice touch to the case.

Got it installed correctly in 1 go but its deceptively tricky. Theres 3 layers of plastic on that sheet. One is opaque. and one clear. and then the actual screen protector. Follow the directions or you will easily mess it up. as it is very thin and technique sensitive.

I broke my other XR case (rigig plastic) from a couple of falls on phone corners. This case is definitely better! It feels like plastic “gel”. i.e. it won’t crack upon a fall. and it is non-slippery. No issues with buttons. Love it!
